Ramon Magsaysay Award Overview
The Ramon Magsaysay Award is presented annually to individuals and organizations who have selflessly served their communities and provided meaningful solutions to some of the most challenging problems in human development across Asia and the world.
The award was established to honor the greatness of spirit demonstrated in service to the peoples of Asia, regardless of race, gender, or religion. It is named after Ramon Magsaysay, the seventh President of the Philippines.
